e-Backup is especially designed for backing up and restoring your: Outlook
Express identities, email messages, newsgroup messages, accounts,
preferences and rules. The program also includes a feature to create a
backup of your Windows Address Book and your Internet Explorer favorites.
You can use an easy wizard to run a scheduled backup at any time you want.
e-Backup will automatically detect the data storage location in your
Windows registry, even if you use a different storage location for every
Outlook Express identity on your computer. After detecting the appropriat
e
storage location e-Backup creates a compressed archive of your data and the
necessary registry keys. Note: compression up to 70% is possible with
regular text messages.
In case of a system crash or OS re-install you no longer have to download
all your e-mail and newsgroup messages (which can be a lengthy process).
Just use e-Backup to create a backup of your messages which you can store
in a safe place (on tape, Zip or CD). After the crash, simply extract the
backup with the e-Backup 'Restore Wizard' and you'll have your dat
